A good number of members turned out to challenge the strong winds on Tuesday night last.
The ever skillful Mr. John Costello calmed the elements abnd returned a very credible 21pts to take the spoils on the night. Well Done John.
We would just like to remind all our members that our Tuesday Nighters is a great opportunity to play off the White Tee and an excellent opportunity throughout the year to get experience for our teams and Inter-club matches.
* Tuesday Nighters competition is open to all handicap categories, 0 to 28
* Time sheet available all day, players must book on the timesheet outside of the official tuesday nighters tee times,
* Enter Name in book and place entry fee in an envelope with your name and date clearly marked,

Founded in 1916 the heath land links style course was designed by the renowned golfer and course architect James Braid, a 5 times winner of “The Open” Golf Championship who can count the design of the prestigious Kings and Queens Courses at Gleneagles amongst his greatest achievements.
James was well known for including dog leg design golf holes in his course designs and the 5th hole in particular is an excellent example of how he blended a great golf hole into the unique Howth Heathers. The exceptional views from the 16th tee are worthy of mention in any golf guide.
