A great turnout of 27 players across all handicap categories made this one of our best Tuesday Nighters competitions to date and we know that we are going to build on this, the craic and banter after the golf was as equally enjoyable.

Well done to Cathal and to Shane and we know they plan to defend last weeks honours, with Shane hoping to go one better.

Don’t forget, this is open to all comers of all hanidcaps and we play off the white markers. Timesheet is now open

Friday Nighters Results 26th April

Friday Night 26th AprilMixed Greensomes.

We had visitors from: Dromoland Castle

Deerpark

St. Annes

Beaverstown, on a cold, windy and wet night.

Winners: Hailstones

Runners Up: Bitter Cold

Showing wisdom beyond his years the Captain led players off the course and away from hailstones, bitter wind and rain to the warm clubhouse and the competition was abandoned. Needless to say as we came in via the 18th fairway the Hail ceased and the sun shone, but it was to be a short respite.

Despite the disappointment an enjoyable time was had and those who played are credited with participation so as to qualify for top prizes in the Friday Nighters Final.

Come along next Friday, the word is we will have improved weather. I look forward to seeing you.
