Due to the Seniors Open and Barton Cup practice there were not too many players to challenge the man in form, Fer Kelly, who once again finished 1st and won the gross prize.

Fingal Seniors League got off to an exciting start in beautiful golfing weather. The Howth away team grafted out a great result, 2 wins to 1 for Ashbourne. However, Ashbourne produced a fighting performance to reverse this and gain 2 wins in Howth against 1 for the home side, to earn an overall half in the match.
Result: Howth 6pts.
Ashbourne 6pts.
Our next match is against Sutton on Thursday 24 April and we will work to gain a win from our neighbours, so that we can really look down on them!!!

The Mondaynighters season got away to a great start with 50 competitors enjoying Spring like conditions for the most part. Alas, some of our “working” participants received an unpleasant sprinkling to remind us of our fickle climate. In spite of all this some really good scores were returned and it looks as if competition for our League trophy will be as keen as ever.
A new trophy was presented by The Mondaynighters to honour the memory of our late friend and colleague, Michael Kelly. This perpetual trophy will be won by the winner of The Mondaynighters Final each year.

For music lovers, then we have a big treat in store as our cabaret guests for the night are the renowned Malahide Golf Club Singers, with the very well established in music circles, Jenny McCabe, as their musical director.

Dinner will be served at 7.30pm sharp.
