Friday Nighters Semi-Open Mixed Golf and Dinner 12th October 2013

This Saturday sees the final of the Friday Nighters Semi-Open Mixed Golf and Dinner.

The Timesheet is open and all members may invite a guest to play and to join them for a meal after golf.

The meal takes place at 8 pm and the cost for the golf and meal is € 30.00 per person.

Should you wish to come to the meal only, the cost is € 25.00 per person.

To book your place at the meal, please enter all names on the tableplan located in the hall of the clubhouse.

We ask that all those playing or attending the dinner to please pre-pay in the Bar.

We look for to a great day of golf and to an enjoyable evening among friends.

Founded in 1916 the heath land links style course was designed by the renowned golfer and course architect James Braid, a 5 times winner of “The Open” Golf Championship who can count the design of the prestigious Kings and Queens Courses at Gleneagles amongst his greatest achievements.

James was well known for including dog leg design golf holes in his course designs and the 5th hole in particular is an excellent example of how he blended a great golf hole into the unique Howth Heathers. The exceptional views from the 16th tee are worthy of mention in any golf guide.
