As the cost to ‘outsource’ & post a copy of the Annual Report to each voting member is significant, it has been agreed to distribute the 2014 Annual Report for HGC in the following 3 ways.

 

  1.   By Email, to relevant Members for whom we have an email address, at  least 14 days in advance of the AGM, which will be held on Monday, December 8th.

 

  1.   The 2014 Annual Report will be posted on the HGC website on November 18th, which is accessible to all Members.

 

  1.   A hardcopy of the 2014 Annual Report will be available for collection in the Office from November, 18th 2014.

Golf at Howth

Founded in 1916 the heath land links style course was designed by the renowned golfer and course architect James Braid, a 5 times winner of “The Open” Golf Championship who can count the design of the prestigious Kings and Queens Courses at Gleneagles amongst his greatest achievements.

James was well known for including dog leg design golf holes in his course designs and the 5th hole in particular is an excellent example of how he blended a great golf hole into the unique Howth Heathers. The exceptional views from the 16th tee are worthy of mention in any golf guide.
